A Counters Friend in the Red-breasted Nuthatch

I felt the need to share a photo I captured the other day. This little bird often visits me as I watch for hawks. Always a treat. On my next day off, I hope to have more time to share some of the incredible images and stories that the migration count offers.

Love this shot Bryce. Great light on the nuthatch and I like the perch, as opposed to the usual tree trunk.
